Day 29: Humor among the Cacti (2/3/22)
Nothing of note happened today. Phil went into Tucson to work out and run errands, while I stayed with the dogs, took a walk, and participated in a webinar on writing (Don Maass again—excellent). So I amused myself with taking photos of saguaro cacti that brought a chuckle. Here are a few:
The Conductor
The Violinist
The Watcher
Mr. Potato Head
Preacher with Congregants
Two Figure-Conscious Cacti
The Hugger
Though most may not know this, saguaro cacti have managed some form of sex differentiation:
I’m going a bit dotty in all this sunshine amid the cacti. The sunset tonight had a calming influence, however. Look for the new moon.
It’s lovely to have some days where not much of anything happens.
Thanks for the whimsy and laughs
